  • Mucky for Money for Comic Relief

    Tue 28 Mar 2017 MCL
Along with Manor Park, we had a fantastic day getting ' Mucky for Money' in aid of Comic relief. Various activities were run at both schools including: making pine cone animals, planting sunflowers, paper plate gardens and making bird feeders. Children from both schools made a coin trail which stretched across the hall at Manor Park and raised an incredible £258.77 for the worthy cause.
  • Cross Country Competition

    Thu 23 Mar 2017 MCL
Awesome! The children all did amazingly at the Family of Schools Cross Country competition. As well as achieving two individual medals, we are so proud that the Year 3/4 team won overall gold!
  • Shakespeare Schools Massive

    Fri 10 Mar 2017
Our Shakespeare drama club performed twice at The Nottingham Playhouse Theatre in front of nearly 2000 people across the two shows. It was incredible to see these year 3-6 children not only speaking the Shakespearean text, but being so confident and clear under the professional stage lighting, on the main stage. We are so proud of their hard work and achievements. Please see below for some of our Romeo & Juliet photos.
  • World Book Day

    Sat 04 Mar 2017 MCL

Everyone had a wonderful time dressing up for the 20th year of World Book Day. The day began with our 'Starbooks Café' - a time for children, parents and staff to get together before school to share books as well as to have breakfast!

World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and, of course, a celebration of reading. It is apparently marked in over 100 countries all over the world! Over the last couple of weeks, pupils have had the chance to visit the book fair and have received a book token. Happy reading everyone!
