  • Decorated Egg Competition

    We had over 60 entries  for our decorated egg competition. Such a brilliant range of ideas and everyone had put real effort into their designs. Here are just a few examples of the great Take Care work. We chose a winner from each class. Well done everyone.
  • Easter Disco

    We celebrated a great end of term with a brilliant school disco. There was lots of dancing, face paints, hot dogs, snacks, glitter tattoos & a photo booth.

  • Planting Trees

    Year 4 and 5 worked with Trees 4 Learning to plant lots of trees at the bottom of our school field to enhance our outdoor learning environment. 
  • Macbeth Performance

    After school drama club put on a production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. It was an atmospheric, powerful and brilliantly acted show, done in the original Shakespearean language. Children from every year group were in the show and worked hard over the last two terms to create this production.
  • Shakespeare Week 2018

    Shakespeare has once again taken over the school! Every class has spent every lesson having their learning themed around Shakespeare. Our whole school play for this year has been Macbeth and the children have explored it in many different ways. Each class visited the 'Macbeth Mystery Room' and solved the clues to work out the story. The children have also done a wide range of lessons such as capacity potion making in maths, Macbeth themed poetry across the whole school, Scottish Highland games and army training in PE, Shakespeare art, shadow puppetry, cooking, singing and much, much more.
  • Winter Olympic Athlete in School

    We were very lucky to have Josh Cheetham, one of the GB Winter Olympic Short Track speed skaters, in school. He led assembly, telling us about what it was like at the Olympics and what he has to do to train to be a sportsman. He also led two PE sessions for our Year 6 children.
