  • Race for Life

    The whole school took part in the Race for  Life to raise money for Cancer Research.
  • Iron Man Work

    Year 4 write their own chapter for The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, then create chalk & charcoal portraits of him. 
  • RE Christmas Experience

    Year 4 went to St Wilfrid’s church and spent the afternoon exploring the meaning behind the Christmas story.
  • ScootFit

    The whole school took part in a ScootFit day. 
  • Climate Change Protest

    One of our Year 6 girls wrote a letter about climate change which she read out to the whole school. This inspired children from across the school to spend their lunchtimes making protest posters. They gave up their playtime on Friday to make their voices heard about climate change.

  • Visit to Parliament

    Children from across the school made the journey down to London to visit The Houses of Parliament and take part in a debating workshop.

  • World Book Day

    The day began with our Starbooks Café where families could enjoy both breakfast AND books together! Well done to all the children (and of course thank you to parents) for the incredible variety of costumes that the children wore. The children enjoyed, among other things, designing their own book mark characters and then creating comic strips. In the afternoon, our Year 6 reading ambassadors shared favourite stories with the children at Manor Park.

  • WORLD WAR 2 ACTIVITY DAY

    While the Year 5s were enjoying themselves in York, the rest of Willow, Bramble and Elder classes enjoyed taking part in some activities relating to WW2 including learning about rationing and cooking.
