Take Care Values
At Sir John Sherbrooke we take every opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s personal development and enable them to ‘be the best they can be’.
Underpinning everything we strive to achieve at SJS is a firm foundation of values-driven learning. As a ‘Take Care’ school we;

Through our curriculum provision and enrichment opportunities we teach and promote our eight ‘Take Care Values’. These are;

- Teamwork
- Integrity
Children are rewarded with special badges for actively demonstrating these values in school and in our community. These badges are proudly worn on school uniform.
Children might also earn one of our special ‘Star’ badges if they have taken part in a performance, a sporting activity or have taken a leadership role either in or out of school.
Our Take Care assemblies are held on Friday mornings and we love to share the children’s successes with parents and family members on these occasions.
