  • Park Treat

    Wed 13 Jul 2016 MCL
All this term, the four school teams have been working hard to earn house points and 'bricks'. Members of Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and Amber competed to see who would earn the most bricks on our team display. The Emerald team won and, as a result, had a special outing to the park where they had a great time!
  • Race For Life 2016!

    Mon 11 Jul 2016 MCL
All pupils took part in the Sherbrooke Race for Life event on Friday 8th July. They ran a mile (3 laps of the school) to help raise money for Cancer Research. After completing the race, they were awarded with their medal before having the chance to buy cakes, toys and books. All this, together with money from sponsors, helped to raise over £1600 for this vital charity. Thank you so much to all who gave support.
  • Family Picnic

    Mon 27 Jun 2016 MCL
As we had so much fun at our Valentine lunch, we held another event where family members could join pupils and staff for a lunchtime. Blankets and cushions were set up outside and everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch. The weather was kind to us and, after eating, the children could take part in various games. Thank you to all those who joined us and a BIG thank you to Mrs Burrows and team for preparing some tasty platefuls!
  • Hagg Farm Residential

    Tue 21 Jun 2016 MCL
Pupils from Years 5 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Hagg Farm in Derbyshire. Take a look at some photos of what they got up to! More can be seen on the J6 class page in the Summer Term section.
  • Musical Showcase

    Mon 20 Jun 2016 MCL

We celebrated the talent of our pupils with a musical showcase evening. Those children who have been part of the choir, or learnt the ukele or guitar, showed off their talent. The audience was also treated to vocal performances by soloists as well as some Irish dancing. What a treat!

  • Village Get Together

    Mon 23 May 2016

Sherbrooke children (and staff!) had a great time at the Calverton event. Everyone dressed up colourfully, decorated themselves with sweets and face paints and carried balloons for the parade. Singing most of the way, they followed what else but a giant peach (well- Miss Maddison)! It made our day to be awarded the Best on Parade. no

Our performers in the arena did a fantastic job - dancing to a 'mash' of music from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda. The 'golden ticket' chocolate stall proved very popular. Many thanks to everyone who helped to plan the day, took part or came to support us.

  • Displays Around School

    Thu 19 May 2016 MCL

  • After SATs Treat!

    Fri 13 May 2016 MCL
The children worked incredibly hard during SATs week and were rewarded with a morning at the park. They loved going on the great variety of play equipment and said they enjoyed having sociable time with all their friends.
  • Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

    Fri 22 Apr 2016 MCL
To celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, as well as dressing in red, white and blue, we had a day full of art activities. Each class created 'Pop Art' pictures of the Queen which will create eye-catching displays.
