Once again Sherbrooke held its own baking event. This year staff members made cookies which they then decorated in order to impress the judges. The judges gave points for artistic impression as well as taste. Congratulations to Mr Civico - this year's winner!

Their creations, along with all the cakes and biscuits that were kindly brought in by parents and pupils, were sold to raise money for Children in Need.

  • Year 5's afternoon with the ex-miners

    Sat 08 Nov 2014
We had a wonderful afternoon with the ex-mining association. They taught us so much about the coal mines; we even tried on some of the clothing they wore down the mines and learnt about the different things that use coal such as; perfume, make-up and shampoo! We came to the conclusion that Mrs Rogers was covered in coal!
  • Delivering Harvest Parcels

    Mon 06 Oct 2014
Children enjoyed delivering harvest parcels around the village. We met some lovely people who were really pleased with their gifts.
  • Harvest Festival Assembly

    Tue 30 Sep 2014
This year our Harvest Assembly was held at school with each class sharing either their wonderful artwork, poems or harvest facts from around the world or, in the case of 3J, telling the story of The Enormous Turnip (in French!) It was a fantastic show of the children's talents and there was some wonderful singing along to our harvest songs brilliantly. A BIG thank you to everyone for their food donations and of course to all friends and relatives who were able to come along and join us.

  • Website update

    Sat 06 Sep 2014
We love our school website and we know lots of parents use it too. We are in the process of updating it and the new design will be up and running soon. Please keep this in mind as you navigate the pages as a few section might not be exactly where you expect them to be! Ask your class teacher or see Miss Holloway to find out a bit more about the process, or send in your suggestions if you can think of something you'd really like us to include in the new design.
